How to add custom backgrounds
- Prepare a PNG or JPG image for your radio display. The recommended maximum size is 480×320. Images are scaled for higher or lower display resolutions, while larger images may cause an out-of-memory error.
- Copy it to /WIDGETS/FM2MDC/USER/BACKGROUNDS/ on the SD card.
- Open the D-Clock widget settings and select it under Bkg image.
- Use Bkg dim (%) to improve clock readability.
- Enable Bkg fit to screen when you want the image scaled to fill the display.
How to install a D-Clock background pack
- Unpack the downloaded ZIP file.
- Copy the WIDGETS folder to the SD-card root and merge folders when prompted.
- Select a background using the D-Clock Bkg image option.
Alternative installation:
- Open WIDGETS/FM2MDC/USER/BACKGROUNDS/ inside the unpacked background pack.
- Copy the selected PNG files to /WIDGETS/FM2MDC/USER/BACKGROUNDS/ on the radio SD card.
- Select a copied background using the D-Clock Bkg image option.
How to configure the activity screensaver
- Open the D-Clock widget settings and enable Screen saver.
- Set SS timeout (s) from 10 to 60 seconds.
- Choose whether the screensaver shows the time, model image, and user images.
- Move either gimbal stick to return to the clock.
If the radio is equipped with a gyroscope, moving the radio will also deactivate the screensaver.
How to add custom screensaver logos

- Enable Screen saver and SS user images in the widget settings.
