How to install TBS Agent

  1. Download the current ZIP package.
  2. Unpack the downloaded ZIP file.
  3. On all radios, copy TBSAgent.lua and the TBSAGENT folder from /SCRIPTS/TOOLS/ in the package to /SCRIPTS/TOOLS/ on your radio SD card.
  4. On Color LCD radios, also copy the TBSAGENT folder from /WIDGETS/ in the package to /WIDGETS/ on your radio SD card.
  5. Restart the radio.

How to run TBS Agent as an application

  1. Open Radio Settings and go to the TOOLS tab.
  2. Select TBS Agent X.XX from the list.
  3. Press ENTER to start the application.

How to run TBS Agent as a widget on EdgeTX 2.11 or later

  1. Add a new Main View.
  2. Select the App mode layout.
  3. Press Setup Widgets.
  4. Press ENTER or tap the screen.
  5. Select TBS Agent from the widget list.
  6. Press RTN twice.
  7. Long-tap or long-press ENTER to enable TBS Agent key navigation.
  8. Long-press RTN to exit back to EdgeTX.

How to run TBS Agent as a widget on EdgeTX 2.10 or earlier

  1. Add a new Main View.
  2. Select the Full screen layout.
  3. Deselect Top Bar, Flight Mode, Sliders, and Trims.
  4. Press Setup Widgets.
  5. Select the widget area and press ENTER, or tap it.
  6. Choose Select widget, then select TBS Agent.
  7. Press RTN twice.
  8. Long-tap or long-press ENTER, then select Full Screen to enable key navigation.
  9. Long-press RTN to exit back to EdgeTX.

Color LCD radio navigation

  • Open device selection: press MDL, SYS, or MENU, or tap the device picture.
  • Select an item: move the dial or roller and press ENTER, or tap the item.
  • Return to the previous folder: press RTN or tap the top bar containing the device name.
  • Refresh devices or parameters: press PAGE or PAGE>.

B&W LCD radio navigation

  • Open device selection: press MDL, SYS, or MENU.
  • Select an item: move the dial or roller and press ENTER.
  • Return to the previous folder: press RTN.
  • Refresh devices or parameters: press PAGE or PAGE>.

No devices are displayed

  • Confirm that the radio module and target device are powered.
  • Confirm that CRSF telemetry is working in EdgeTX.
  • Refresh the device list using PAGE or PAGE>.
  • Exit and restart TBS Agent after the CRSF connection is established.
